As soon as the population becomes outraged enough at the trillions of dollars Congress is throwing at companies like AIG (they are already very very outraged), all the banks will be nationalized, as I have long predicted, sending bank shares to $0 where they belong. At least if a business is rescued by the government, the government (people) should take ownership of it, and wipe out the bond and share holders (they took a gamble and lost), instead of the current model where trillions of public money is thrown at the problem to rescue private investors and Bank CEOs. Geithner will soon be fired.
