"And what is Paulson’s track record anyway? This guy has not gotten anything right. He is the guy that told us that the subprime problems were contained, that the economy was fine, everything was great. Now all of the sudden, Freddie and Fannie are going broke, when not too long ago, he was assuring us how solvent they are. Now he’s saying that: 'they are broke, I want your authority to infuse unlimited amounts of money into these companies, but I don’t even think that we are ever going to use it...' This is insane. But you know what, he’s probably going to get it … But one thing that's assured, when Paulson’s got that bazooka in his pocket, he’s going to pull it out, and he’s going to obliterate the dollar."
In case you think Mr. Schiff is making this up, here is Treasury Secretary Paulson stating that: the subprime mortgage market won't impose a serious problem.
This guy Paulson has been wrong from day fucking one, it's time the American people fire his sorry ass. Remember, he is working for us.
